Fire always puts "FD" in front of their number. Example: FD-15, FD-23, etc. Apparatus is Engine 1, Engine 2, etc. Vandalia Fire has sold/closed Station 3 on N Dixie Dr and the building has been torn down and is being replaced with some type of factory/distribution center being constructed. Vandalia Fire was issued county Station 91 for Station 1 and county Station 92 for Station 2, however Vandalia does not use county station or apparatus numbers under any circumstances.

However, several agencies still use them. The disposition codes in the second section are still used by most agencies, even those now using "clear text".
